Belmont Hall exceeded my high expectations in every way possible. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming presence of Lord Jeffrey and the incredibly hospitable hosts, Chris and Gillie. the property itself is a true gem, with stunning grounds that perfectly complement the historical beauty of the Georgian building. Our room, Mulberry, was not only impeccably clean and tastefully decorated with original antique furniture, but the size of the bathroom and the delightful natural home fragrance added an extra touch of luxury. One aspect that particularly impressed me was the level of care and attention to detail that Chris and Gillie put into every corner of the hotel. From the informative historical knowledge shared by Chris, to the exquisite breakfast options and the beautiful garden furniture where we enjoyed our meals, every moment spent at Belmont Hall felt like a true indulgence. the ironing facilities provided in the room and the free toiletries added an extra layer of convenience and luxury to our stay. Belmont Hall truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. the impeccable service, charming decor, and exceptional attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. I can confidently say that I have found my new favorite spot in the Lake District, thanks to the wonderful hospitality of Chris and Gillie. It was an absolute pleasure to experience such a high level of comfort and care, and I cannot wait to return for another unforgettable stay.
